Top5 survives stabbing in London and immediately updates Kanye West.

Rapper Top5 aka Hassan Ali, was reportedly stabbed in London over the weekend as he was in the city to support Drake, who was performing at the Wireless Festival.

According to reports by multiple media outlets, Top5 was interacting with fans close to the festival site when a masked attacker walked up to the rapper and abruptly stabbed him in the neck. This caused a sudden ruckus and panic as people around him started assuming this would lead to a larger attack.

The rapper fortunately survived the ordeal as emergency medical care was given to him and he was immediately taken to a nearby hospital. After medical examinations, it was revealed that even with the severity of the attack, no major arteries were severed by the knife.

The attack is being investigated by the local police; however, no arrests have been made as of yet.

Top5 texts Kanye regarding recovery

The rapper made a swift recovery and even more swiftly texted his friend Kanye West. According to a post shared by AkademiksTV, Top5 reposted a screenshot of her conversation with Ye on his Instagram story.

In the text exchange, Kanye is talking about how the rapper has already made it to Paris, so soon after the attack.

"No way you made it to Paris," West wrote. "I want to know what you're thinking in your brain right now."
Top5 responded ominously, "They know I'm coming Ye," with a "lips sealed" emoji.
"Like John Wick after they got his dog? Hahahaha you're a soldier!" West retorted.

Both rappers have been controversy-laden for a while now. West has been making headlines almost every month over his support of n*zis, his former assistant's lawsuit, his problematic new music and his most reason backlash over the Rubicon Festival.

The Gold Digger singer was set to perform at the Slovakian festival as a Headliner, as announced in June. Due to his history of antisemitism and embrace of N*zi imagery, the rapper and the fest started receiving backlash. It was advertised as his only European show, as he is basically banned from performing anywhere on the continent. Though they held on to the decision to have Ye headline, they eventually had to back down as artists started pulling themselves out of the lineup after hearing of his involvement. Eventually, the entire fest had to be cancelled.

At the same time, the Toronto rapper Ali has been arrested multiple times this year and is also facing a 2021 first-degree murder charge against him, though the process has been suspended.
