Travis Kelce launches a new collection with American Eagle following Taylor Swift’s engagement announcement.

Travis Kelce has followed up his engagement announcement with global pop sensation Taylor Swift with a collaborative collection. The Kansas City Chiefs' tight end's sports and lifestyle brand, Tru Kolors, is launching a clothing collection with American Eagle.

Travis Kelce stated in a press release.“I’ve had to keep my excitement about this collab under wraps for nearly a year. It was an awesome opportunity to team up with an established brand where both sides were excited to truly collaborate on every decision in the design and creative process that brought the 'AE x TK' collection to life.”

He continues, “I started Tru Kolors in 2019 on the foundation of showing up authentically and having fun with style, and we wanted this collab to reflect that same energy. I want everyone to feel like there is something for them in the collection, something they can feel good in and make their own. I’m excited for it to finally be out in the world.”

The AD, which the NFL player is starring in, was released on Wednesday and also features notable fellow athletes, including tennis star Anna Frey, basketball guard Azzi Fudd, top wide receiver recruit Jeremiah Smith, quarterback Drew Allar, rising NBA star Kiyan Anthony, and Olympic gold gymnast Suni Lee.

The “AE x TK” is set to reflect Kelce's "unique style, delivering an elevated take on everyday essentials and transforming classic silhouettes into bold statements of confidence and individuality.”

The collection itself features more than 90 pieces priced between $14.95 and $179.95 and includes vintage-inspired tees, cricket sweaters, soft chenille pieces, rugby polos, utility cargos, and cashmere sets. It will come out in two separate drops, one on August 27 and the second on September 24.

This news comes 24 hours after the announcement of the engagement of America's favorite couple. Taylor and Travis Kelce announced their proposal through a collaborative Instagram post, breaking Instagram with 29.7 million likes at the time of writing and wreaking havoc in their respective fandoms. The post had a cute caption.
