Twitch has suspended John "Tectone," a well-known content creator, for the third time. @StreamerBans, an automated tracking account on X, reported this latest ban on June 5, 2025. Anyone visiting Tectone's Twitch channel now sees a message stating:

"This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service."

Tectone, who attracts viewers with his game streams and lively personality, shared his thoughts about the suspension on X. His post showed he was very upset, calling the situation worse and ridiculous. He also told his followers he planned to stream on YouTube and Kick, hinting he might focus less on Twitch after this action. He wrote:

"I told everyone this would happen. Things are far worse than I feared. We will be talking about this when I go live at 9 am cst when I go live on YouTube AND kick. This is f**king ridiculous."

This ban comes after the streamer shared a public warning in May. He informed that someone on the inside told him he might get kicked off Twitch for good within the month. He didn't give any information on who told him this or why they thought it would happen, but he made it clear he wasn't kidding around and seemed to accept it might happen:

"Twitch has more morals than kick. They don’t care how much money you make them, that’s why I respect them," an X user wrote regarding the ban.

Internet reacts as Tectone reportedly faces a ban on Twitch

Netizens shared their thoughts on X regarding Tectone's ban from Twitch:

"Twitch is pathetic. I am done watching streams on that website," an X user commented.

Another user commented that the ban might actually work to the streamer's advantage:

"That’s great news for him though, he can now earn twice as much on the Kick Partner Program without multi-streaming to Twitch," a user wrote on X.
''Twitch does something you expect them to do yet again,'' another user reacted.
"He was already celebrating that he got more money on kick, yes there are incentives there, but really you’re going to the dark side. #sellout. There’s less safety on kick so I don’t respect it. Ppl who disagree literally don’t have a good enough soul to know what I mean," another user shared.
"He wasn’t entertaining to watch anyways," another user commented.

Tectone’s third ban in 2025 raises questions about his future on Twitch

The June 5 suspension marks the third time Tectone has been banned in 2025. His first ban hit on March 20 when he had 950,000 people following him on the platform. StreamerBans also reported that incident, though no official reason was shared by Twitch at the time.

The streamer, who was formerly associated with the creator group One True King (OTK), has often been at the center of Twitch-related controversies. While he continues to engage his fanbase across multiple platforms, the repeated suspensions have raised questions about his long-term standing on Twitch.

As of now, the exact cause behind Tectone's latest ban remains unknown. His move to stream on YouTube and Twitch could indicate a growing trend among creators seeking alternatives to Twitch amid stricter enforcement of platform policies.
