UFC fighter Nick Diaz's rumoured girlfriend, Kay, has alleged that the former has been held at a rehab facility and was "transported across the border into Mexico." Kay took to her Instagram story (@kay209x) on June 6 and claimed that Diaz was forcefully taken away by his cousin. While Kay didn't reveal the date or name of the cousin, she alleged that he "was drugged",

"and has made numerous attempts to escape, but the authorities consistently return him to the facility. Communication with him is severely restricted. I am unable to speak with him or receive updates directly."

Kay claimed that she hasn't been able to "speak with him" and all information has been conveyed to her by a "man named Ruben." She emphasised that he didn't want to be there and wants to "attend a drug rehabilitation program" in California.

Veteran UFC fighter Nick Diaz has reportedly been taken to a rehab facility against his wishes by his cousin. His girlfriend claimed that he wished to seek rehabilitation services in "California" and is unable to understand how he can be kept in "Mexico" against his wishes. Diaz's whereabouts are unclear, and communication is reportedly being mediated by a third party, "Ruben."

This comes days after Kay alleged that they paid Nick's long-term coach, Cesar Gracie, "200k" for reportedly living under his "shed." Around the same time, his coach had reportedly shared a photo on his social media and noted,

"Nick is healthy and doing good."

This is not the first time Nick's alleged substance use difficulties have come to light. A 2024 clip went viral, which allegedly showed Diaz seemingly setting fire to "grass." Kay had previously spoken about Nick's substance use and noted,

Dr-g addiction doesn’t last forever, you either find sobriety or it takes your life."

Nick Diaz's girlfriend's new claims about the former being taken to a rehab facility alerted his fans. The reported incident has shed light on Nick Diaz's alleged long-term struggles with substance use. According to Kay, even after multiple attempts, Diaz has reportedly been unable to leave the rehabilitation facility.
