On Father's Day 2025, Prince William's three children sent loving greetings on the official Instagram page of the Prince and Princess of Wales. This gave us a rare and poignant look into the private side of royal life.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis uploaded two candid images of their dad with the sweet message, "Happy Father's Day, Papa (before and after!) We love you! G, C & L.”

The post shows a playful "before and after" scene. Prince William poses with his kids in the first picture. They are all wearing earthy colors that complement their informal family excursion (khaki coats and denim).

In the second, the kids happily knock their dad down while laughing and having fun.

Their ages and titles show how Prince William balances his royal duties with being a father. This reminds people that behind the public image is a father who cares about his children's growth and happiness. Prince George, who is now 11, gives a strong and warm hug. Princess Charlotte, who is 10, illuminates the room with her big grin. And Prince Louis, who is 7, contributes the lively spark that keeps the family going.

The family went to the Trooping the Colour ceremony on June 14, which was King Charles's official birthday, and then they sent this Father's Day letter. Prince William, who was dressed in full military regalia as Colonel of the Irish Guards, observed from the balcony of Buckingham Palace with his wife Catherine and their children. The young royals driving in a carriage and greeting fans was a nice change from the close attachment seen in the Instagram photographs.

Photographer Josh Shinner, who has taken pictures of many important events for the Waleses, shot these pictures at Anmer Hall, the Waleses' Norfolk home, earlier this year. The Prince and his kids stood in front of the estate's beautiful rural setting for Father's Day last year. This was the start of a new tradition.

Prince William spoke freely about how becoming a father impacted his view on life. He said that late nights, school runs, and playground visits were both hard and immensely rewarding. He makes sure that George, Charlotte, and Louis enjoy a usual upbringing by planning his official events around their school and home routines.

The royal family sent wider Father's Day wishes in addition to William's particular homage. The official Royal Family Instagram account wishes all fathers a happy Father's Day by displaying old pictures of Prince Philip and King Charles, Queen Camilla and her father, Major Bruce Shand, and others.

George, Charlotte, and Louis's touching Father's Day letter stands apart at a time when the royal family's everyday life is frequently choreographed. The Waleses are a typical, joyful, loving, and funny family, just like any other family, even though their family's past is quite formal.

This beautiful picture of Prince William's life shows how deeply connected families are, whether they are royal or not. It shows how he balances being a parent and a servant.
