Adin Ross and Kai Cenat, who were previously reported to have a long-standing rivalry, have now revealed that they have settled their feud. According to Dexerto, last week, Adin Ross addressed the issue of his rivalry with Kai Cenat, saying there is "mutual respect" between the two streamers.
"It’s a very mutual respect that him and I have for one another."
It was, in fact, Kai Cenat who was the first to address the seemingly tense situation between him and Adin Ross. During his stream on July 17, he referred to Ross as his brother and said:
"I got nothing but respect for Adin. I ain’t never had a problem with Adin. Adin is my brother."
More about Adin Ross and Kai Cenat's rivalry, as streamer reveals their misunderstanding has been settled
Adin Ross and Kai Cenat were previously reported to have been close friends, often appearing on each other's streams, until Adin Ross was banned for hateful conduct back in March 2023.
On July 18, just a day after the above-mentioned Kai Cenat's stream, Adin Ross addressed the situation during his livestream, saying there was no "bad blood" between him and Kai Cenat, and said:
"Me and Kai spoke on the phone. Kai and I had a great conversation, just in general about a lot of stuff. It’s not Adin vs Kai, we don’t want that. There’s no bad blood between us. That’s where it stands."
Ross later added that he has a lot of respect for Kai Cenat, particularly because Kai rejected a fifty percent equity stake in Kick, as he chose not to chase money in that manner. He said:
"It was fifty million dollars and equity in Kick. So, 50, 50, 50, equity of Kick, and whatever Kick is valued at now, we could've all been billionaires. It's okay, though. It happens. That's why I do have respect for Kai, for that specific reason. I'll never forget, I'll never f*cking forget. Money don't make him want to move at all."
Last week, other streamers like xQc also weighed in on the matter. On July 13, xQc, with whom Kai Cenat has allegedly had a beef for the past few months, weighed in on Kai Cenat's supposed mistreatment and shading of Adin Ross, saying that it is something he would not be able to deal with himself. He said:
"That’s just awful, man. Adin, don’t know how you deal with that s*it, I’m not gonna lie. I wouldn’t be able to deal with that."
Earlier this year, on March 29, Adin Ross's ban was lifted. Soon after, he resumed streaming and spoke about realizing "who is real" during his time off. He said:
"When I was banned, there was a between love and fake love, and I really don’t even want to go into that because I don’t want issues I don’t want to start problems. I don’t want to create any, it’s like you gotta just remember who’s not f*cking with you when you’re down. You know what I mean? You gotta remember that. And bro, that’s the biggest thing, you gotta remember exactly who’s kinda not real and who isn’t."
He further added:
"I’m serious, that’s the problem. It used to be, everyone was like, always doing content together. Always doing s*it together. Game nights. Nobody’s friends anymore. Everyone, like, is not f**king anymore. I’m telling you how it feels like. Everyone’s egos is colliding. It’s ego. You know, I don’t understand that."
Although he never specifically addressed any creator, fans quickly saw this as an alleged dig at Kai Cenat. According to Dexerto, Kai Cenat seemingly responded to Adin Ross's rant by saying:
“I feel like sh*t now really is as easy as, like, doing sh*t because n****s do be busy. I ain’t going to lie, you all know me. I don’t got no ego to nobody. I’m just literally streaming, gang. Yo chat, it’s literally those accounts that build the narrative. Let me emphasize it – those accounts. Y’all know that builds up narratives. I’m telling you, gang! I’m telling you, gang! Those accounts that build that narrative. That’s literally what it is, gang. And that s*it is too toxic, gang. Way too toxic, bro.”
According to Hot New Hip Hop, despite settling their beef, Kai Cenat did call out Adin Ross' manager, Taav, for using the N word. Taav, on the other hand, remarked that he did not remember using the word but apologized nevertheless.
