Cardi B was seen outside the courthouse in Los Angeles, where she posed for the papparazzi and signed autographs for fans. She was there for her ongoing civil lawsuit, Hot New Hip Hop has reported.
"I love them and thank you so much for supporting me," she said in the video.
Per the outlet, she spent her lunch break inside the vehicle before she made her way back to the courtroom.
What has Cardi B said about rumors of her alleged pregnancy?
Ahead of the release of her highly anticipated project, Am I The Drama?, which drops this September, she took to her IG live to interact with her fans.
At one point, someone pointed out that she was short of breath and questioned if she was with child. However, she cussed the idea out in the August 21 livestream:
“‘Look thirty weeks pregnant’? No, you stupid b**ch,” Cardi said. “I’m just f**king out of breath ’cause I have asthma… Stop f**king being f**king funny in this b**ch before you get motherf**king blocked, b**ch. Stupid a** comment, don’t put that s**t on me, b**ch.”
She also took to X to tease fans with a cheeky message:
“But AM I?…” she tweeted alongside a gif of Tokyo Toni raising her eyebrows.
What has Cardi B been up to recently?
For the unversed, the songstress recently announced that she has since moved on to New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs after her contentious split from Offset, the father of her children. The estranged pair have been battling it out in court and in the public eye since last year.
As for her ongoing trial, according to the BBC, it is in connection with a case levied by Emani Ellis, a security guard suing Cardi B for assault. The latter claims to have been allegedly injured by the rapper with her fingernail during a brawl that took place in LA in 2018. She claims the encounter left her "deeply traumatised".
However, Cardi B told the court recently that Ellis was filming and stalking her against her will when she arrived at the obstetrician's office for a pregnancy that had not yet been announced to the world. She said she confronted the security guard but never assaulted her.
"I didn't touch her," said the rapper. "It was like a verbal fight, but it didn't get physical at all."
Ellis is suing Cardi B for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. She has also levied accusations of negligence and false imprisonment against her.
