Tech CEO Andy Byron and his alleged mistress have now inspired a game: Coldplay Canoodlers.

As reported by Dexerto, the game allows players to earn points every time they spot the Astronomer CEO in a crowd, Where’s Waldo style. It was developed just days after a video surfaced showing Byron ‘canoodling’ with Kristin Cabot, the head of HR at his company, during a Coldplay concert in Boston on July 17, 2025.

In the video, the camera pans to the couple, who quickly turn their backs to it. Byron ducks down while Cabot turns away. Another colleague nearby appears to blush at the situation. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin comments on the awkward moment, joking that the pair were “either really shy” or “having an affair.”

Andy Byron's newfound fame explored:

As reported by The New York Times, Grace Springer, a 28-year-old Coldplay megafan, was the one who filmed the now-infamous moment and shared it online. Speaking with The U.S. Sun, she said the whole thing was an accident.

“I had no idea who the couple was,” she said. She just thought I caught an interesting reaction to the kiss cam and decided to post it. A part of me feels bad for turning these people’s lives upside down, but, play stupid games … win stupid prizes.”

In the video, which has since reportedly been viewed over 50 million times, Byron can be heard saying awkwardly,

“F–king hell, it’s me,” while Cabot seemingly mouthed, “This is awkward.” Chris Martin, on the other hand, pointed out, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.” He added, “I hope we didn’t do something bad…”

Several outlets have since reported that Andy Byron was married to Megan Kerrigan at the time of the incident, while Cabot had divorced her husband, Kenneth Thornby.

Andy Byron has been with Astronomer since 2023, which is a data orchestration platform based in New York that “empowers data teams to bring mission-critical analytics, AI, and software to life,” according to its LinkedIn page. As for Cabot, she joined just nine months ago, The Independent has reported.

CNN has reported that Andy Byron has since been placed on leave, with cofounder and chief product officer Pete DeJoy now serving as the interim CEO.

“Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability,” a statement from the company said on its LinkedIn, adding that its board of directors “has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly.”
