However, as seen in a screenshot going viral on X, DDG was only able to send $1K. In the description of the payment, he explained himself:

"THIS ALL I GOT GANG MY BILLS HIGH.”

As reported by Black Enterprise, in March this year, the rapper, whose legal name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., contradicted himself yet again when he said that he is worth over $8 million. At the time, he was speaking in an interview with “Got Sole" when he told Speedy Mormon:

“I’m very humble though. Believe it or not. You know, a lot of people say I’m not humble, but I’m actually very humble.”

He also revealed that he was making as high as $400,000 in a month when he was posting consistently on the platform, which was around three to seven videos in a day.

He continued,
