Designer Giorgio Armani has passed away at the age of 91 on September 4, 2025. The Italian creator was known for pioneering Italian fashion as it is known today. He has created a legacy of being a "creator, founder, and tireless driving force" and will be remembered for his timeless designs and business acumen.

Giorgio Armani truly was a force to be reckoned with as he combined his flair for design with the mindset of a businessman and ran a company that turned over around 2.3 billion euros ($2.7 billion) a year.

Due to his vast knowledge and skill, Armani turned what started as just a fashion company into a myriad of extensions, including music, sports, accessories, perfumes, cosmetics, home furnishings, books, chocolates, flowers, and even luxury hotels.

Added to that are his more than 20 restaurants worldwide, and also a basketball team, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, better known as Olympia Milano. This led him to have a net worth of $12.1 billion, according to Forbes.
