Dave Portnoy was the victim of an anti-semitic slur as he was in the middle of a pizza review.

The Barstool Sports founder was just about to take the titular bite for his One Bite pizza review series in Toronto on Monday when he was berated by a group of teen boys, one of whom yelled “f–k the jews” at him from behind the camera. Dave Portnoy wasted no time in pushing back:

"There we go," he yelled. "What are you guys f–king laughing about? Exactly. So here we go, one bite everybody knows the rules. We won’t let that get … what is that Toronto hospitality there?" "That’s terrible," his acquaintance, Bill the Greek, remarked.

Unfazed, Dave Portnoy went on to complete his review, giving the local pizza joint 7.4 out of 10. The video has been viewed over 130,000 times since it was published this Monday.

Dave Portnoy faces two instances of antisemitism in one month

This is the second time in under a month that Dave Portnoy, who is Jewish, has had to deal with such slurs. Earlier in May, he came across a “F–k the Jews” sign being paraded around at a Barstool Sports bar in Philadelphia. He promptly took to X to launch a tirade, initially declaring war:

"Who the f—k would do that sign in my f—king bar? You think I’m just gonna sit here? I’m gonna make it my f—king mission to put you in lights. My f—king mission," he remarked at the time. "What I’m saying is, I’m getting the names, I’m trying to be a little responsible, I’m trying to keep it together, but I’m on it," he said. "But I’m on it. I’m f—king on it."

Noting that he was “on a mission to ruin these people," two servers responsible for the sign were fired, and Portnoy eventually tracked down the two Temple University students responsible and had them agree to be flown out to Germany and Poland.

The social media personality funded their fares, and they were taken to the grim Holocaust sites, including Auschwitz:

"These are young f—ing morons who did this," Portnoy said. "They’re drunk. Do you really want to ruin somebody’s life? … So, yeah, my initial reaction was I’m going to burn these people to the ground, their families, everything. And it’s like, you know what? Maybe that’s not the best course of action. Maybe I can use this as a teaching moment."

He continued:

"I talked to both the culprits who I know are super involved in it, talked to the families. I’m sending these kids to Auschwitz. They’ve agreed to go."

The Wrap has reported that one of these two students backed off and later accused Dave Portnoy of trying to use social media against them to ruin their lives. He later took to X to pen:

“His trip to Poland has been revoked. Whatever ramifications come his way he 100% earned." He added, "I’m like trying to make this a teachable moment, throw a lifeline to a kid, and he’s like, ‘Well, I already got suspended from Temple’ because you got a ‘f–k the Jews’ sign at a bar and posted it on social media.'"

The Barstool Samson Street also stated after the incident, which reads as follows, according to The New York Post:

"We are saddened, embarrassed, and frustrated by the deplorable actions of a customer and misguided staff," it read.
