On August 18, Drake popped into TrainwreckTV’s chat and called Kick co-founder Ed Craven a "snake" and a "goof." He also suggested that platform owners profited while creators like him were undervalued.

The rapper has been affiliated with the streaming platform Kick since 2022, where he streamed his gambling events on Stake. On August 11, he and Adin Ross collaborated with xQc and TrainwrecksTV to play slots roulette, with Craven present as a bystander.

In a August 18 message, the artist said,

"If Stake is the warriors...I am Steph Curry...we win CHIPS for the last many years the owners get rich af and make us run su**ides after practice still, eat granola bars for meals, and take the Greyhound bus to games...F**KING GOOFINOS."

He also suggested that the reason behind the conflict was due to Kick founders creating problems with the rapper's record label and collective, October's Very Own (OVO),

"F**k them...they want smoke with ovo so its upppppppp...MAX them and have a great stream."

Will Drake fight Ed Craven in a boxing ring?

Adin Ross, during a boxing conference stream with Kick and Stake, revealed that the rapper has expressed interest in fighting the Kick co-founder in a boxing ring.

Adin, while quoting Drake said,

"All my life I'll fight for free, I wanna fight Eddy and you fight Bijan"

Bijan "B" Tehrani is co-founder of Kick alongside Ed Craven. Ross then went on to add,

"So Eddy and Bijan it would be a great event we could do something to do with charity. Let's do it, let's give the fans what they want. We can get Drake to fight for free. And I can fight Bijan, I'd say we run it, let's do it. I'll fight Bijan, Drake fights Eddy. It's amazing, alright."

Ross put unnamed person on call, who was allegedly believed to be Drizzy, who said, "I'll fight these guys in Wallmart brother, let me know."

The rapper had also deleted his Kick account on August 20 following a fall out with Ed Craven. Ross, in a stream, tried to find the rapper's account but was met with a "404 Error" page, confirming that his account has been deleted.

Ross appeared shocked when he made the discovery and went on to criticise Craven, saying, "Eddie been dissing the owls. F*** Eddie. F*** this goof."

As per Dexerto, Drake's decision to step away from the platform stemms from his frustrations over restrictions placed on the account.
