On October 31, streamer N3on, also known as Mikyle Rafiq shared an X post, sharing his decision to move out of Los Angeles. The reason behind moving out was a lot of alleged demonic energy in the place. He wrote:
“I’m officially moving out of LA. I feel like I’m losing myself. So much demonic energy and things going on. I’m packing my shit and leaving tonight.”
Social media users reacted to his post, with one X user commenting:
“What the hell did bro see tonight.”
Another X user commented about LA, saying:
“I agree, LA is wild. But no matter where you go you need to get your weight up, brother.”
Other online commentators seemed to have suggestions for him. For instance, one netizen wrote:
“LA is a crazy spot, I don’t blame you. Get a beachfront somewhere, with roomates you like and get along with. Call it the N3on house. Some of the best times of my life were with buddies as roomates. Skydiving, surfing often, just random crazy adventures with the guys. We definitely could’ve filmed our lives, and even discussed it often, but never did it.”
Similarly, another social media user suggested:
“Move to the mountains bro, get out while you still can.”
An X user commented that N3on should be motivated to go ahead with his decision. They wrote:
“You control ur environment my brudda, but if this the decision you wanna make than actually follow thru n don’t let no bad influence keep u around.”
N3on on following religious ideals, growing up in Houston and his initial days of streaming
In March 2025, N3on sat down with DJ Vlad for an interview during which he shared details about his personal life. When asked if he was religious, Rafiq said he tried to be and that he came to the interview after having gone to the mosque. Vlad then asked if he observes Ramadan every year but the streamer said he couldn’t do it every year because of health issues. Sharing his experiences of growing up in Houston, he said:
“It was pretty boring, you know. People say Houston's cool but like me like I never really went out I never really did stuff I was just inside and my parents f*cking house playing video games, go to school, come black, play games, play some basketball, here and there, pretty boring life in Houston.”
N3on went on to say:
“My life just started getting like interesting the past like year and a half.”
When asked if his parents were well-off, Rafiq said they were. His father was in real estate development. Looking back on his initial streaming journey, he said that at the time, he was more into video games. He would get 300 views on average for each video.
Nonetheless, N3on said he always had a passion for video games, though his parents did not want him to do YouTube at that time. He said this was also because of his culture which did not allow people to go on the internet and show their faces. According to Rafiq, his parents took some time to understand his passion.
