Fox Sports host Joy Taylor recently shared her experience of being pulled into Noushin Faraji’s s*x scandal. Faraji, who used to work in the network as a hairstylist, submitted a lawsuit accusing Taylor of having physical relationships with Charlie Dixon and Emmanuel Acho.
Besides this, there were other claims of retaliation, s*xual battery, and harassment in the lawsuit. On June 26, 2025, Taylor sat down with the hosts of The Breakfast Club podcast, where she discussed her work in the industry.
While discussing the aspects of beauty and being skillful, Jess Hilarious asked if her contract was renewed. Joy Taylor said it was still in progress. At this point, Charlamagne Tha God said:
“One thing I love about you, Joy, you did not shrink when sh*t got hot. Was that intentional? You like I cannot let them see me sweat or shrink right now?”
After briefly pausing, Joy Taylor agreed that she intentionally stayed firm during that time. She said she wasn’t an unintentional person, especially when it comes to her public persona.
She reflected on how knowing herself made it easier to stay true to who she was, even when facing challenges in life and her career. She acknowledged that being in the public eye came with risks, and not everything always went smoothly.
While she did experience difficult times, she felt fortunate to have the support of close family, friends, mentors, and a strong team who had known her for years.
Their constant reminders of her worth and abilities helped her stay grounded, especially during moments of doubt. She felt thankful for the support system around her.
Joy Taylor looks back on coping with trauma and being an “extremist”
Recently, a representative for Joy Taylor stated that the accusations against her had no real basis and seemed aimed more at gaining attention than seeking justice.
The spokesperson also said Taylor denied all claims, suggesting she had done anything wrong or owed anything to the plaintiff. During the conversation with the podcast hosts, Jess Hilarious asked if she ever felt betrayed, to which Joy Taylor replied:
“I have felt a lot of different emotions. I think it's a grief process when anything like that happens. I'll say I've been through a lot of traumatic things in my life a lot and I think anytime you go through a trauma or you know grieving period of something, you can't decide who you are when it's happening.”
She went on:
“And that's been the biggest thing for me is I'm like an extremist. It's this or that. I'm working on it but it's this or that and I know years from now I'll look back and I will feel differently how than how I feel right now and I'm trying to be patient with myself in that way.”
When speaking about the sports industry, Joy Taylor explained that it had always been connected to entertainment, music, and culture, but that connection had become even stronger.
She noted that athletes were now encouraged to explore multiple roles, including business ventures, hosting podcasts or shows, and even acting in films, showing how much the industry had evolved.
