YouTuber KingCobraJFS has reportedly been discovered dead at the age of 34.

Dexerto has reported that the content creator's father walked into his apartment to check on him when he found him dead and unable to be revived. He has since confirmed his demise in a post shared on his son's YouTube channel. The latter had 116K followers on YouTube.

However, an online obituary dated July 22, 2025, also confirmed his passing. It states that the infamous musician, born Joshua Fay Sanders, was found with his lips blue, though his cause of death remains unclear. Kiwifarms state that the creator, who also went by The Gothic King Cobra, began making videos in 2011.

Dexerto has reported that, following a few days of radio silence on his YouTube channel, KingCobraJFS’s dad shared a video about his demise, though it was swiftly taken down.

The former was known for being a streamer, guitarist, and songwriter. He would often share videos about his life, and when he would livestream, he was often inebriated. He would chit-chat with his audience.

Furthermore, the outlet also states that doctors are of the opinion that KingCobraJFS succumbed to his demise in his sleep.

“I got on today to delete all of his social media… because ‘f**k you’ is how I’m feeling. But I realized that would not be fair to his fans, and it’s certainly nothing he would want. As you all know, Josh was harassed and bullied terribly his whole life. From the time he was 3, it was just nonstop. It was like he had a neon sign that said ‘Please pick on me’," KingCobraJFS's father said. “For some reason, so many people on this earth felt that picking on him was ok. That, just because it’s him, that it made it alright. That he didn’t matter. But he did matter.”

Per the outlet, doctors think it could be organ failure, as the YouTuber was a mega-fan of the late Ozzy Osbourne and allegedly began consuming alcohol excessively in the wake of his passing a few months ago.

As of this writing, further information about his death remains speculative, and an official statement has yet to be released. His last video came just days ago, where he reportedly claimed to have been feeling ill and up all night.
