Rapper and singer Lil Nas X has been arrested and booked for allegations of suspicion of misdemeanor obstructing a police officer, according to POLICE1. According to reports, the police responded to reports of a man wandering the LA streets.
Lil Nas allegedly had an altercation with the police were called to Ventura Boulevard at 05:30 on Thursday, following reports of a man walking down the street in his underwear. Nas was then taken to a hospital for treatment for a possible overdose, according to police spokesman Charles Miller.

However, six months before he was hospitalized and arrested, he had candidly shared with his social media followers that the “last few years” had been “pretty difficult.”
The 26-year-old explained in February, “I’m just now arriving to this place of feeling confidence in myself and what I’m doing, and I’m trying to make sure I put intention towards my music and my vision and the creativity of it all.”
“I wanna go out here in this f–king world, and I wanna wave my hands in the sky and move about freely,” he said, pleading with his fan, “I need you guys to stick beside me.”
He also expressed how he, “jumped straight into adulthood with extreme fame around me, so it was really nice to be just outside walking and meeting people in the streets and eating at restaurants, just even alone, spending a lot of alone time in solitude.”
Lil Nas X arrested
According to a video posted by TMZ, he was filmed wearing only white underwear and white cowboy boots while singing and roaming the streets. He responded to the person recording by saying not to “be late to the party tonight” and adding, “It’s gonna be a beautiful sunrise.”
After the police arrived on the scene to apprehend him, according to reports from Page Six and NBC News, Lil Nas X allegedly twice punched an officer in the face.
“He was transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose and placed under arrest for battery on a police officer,” police said.
LAPD further told Page Six on Thursday afternoon,
“There is no further information to disseminate.”
In April, Lil Nas X was hospitalized after losing control of one side of his face, though he never disclosed the exact diagnosis for his issue.
