Country music artist Megan Moroney’s star has seen an astronomical rise. Her sophomore record, Am I Okay? garnered several awards and accolades, and in good news for her audience as well as fans of the genre, Moroney has now dropped some teasers for her third album. Most recently, a countdown clock mysteriously appeared on her website on November 10. There was also an indication that fans could expect a special announcement at 9 am CT the following day. In addition to the countdown, a password-protected section appeared as well, challenging her audience to crack a 15-character code for more insight into what Megan Moroney is cooking up.Eventually, the online community determined the password to be “ITS9LONGW9YDOWN”. Upon entering the code, the site changes entirely to a pink motif, one Megan Moroney teased in an equally cryptic Instagram video uploaded on November 10.An unreleased song was also prompted with the right password, as was the phrase, “It’s a Long Way Down”. If this is not the name of her upcoming album, it certainly looks like it will be the name of her first single at the least. Some fans have theorized that "Cloud 9" could also be the name of the project based on several clues.
