Pooh took to his social media accounts on November 28, 2025, to tease a new single, First Day Out and asked followers to drop "10k comments" for the full reveal of the track.

Pooh Shiesty is reportedly making a comeback with a new track, First Day Out after being granted an early release from prison. His attorney, Bradford Cohen, reportedly spoke to XXL magazine following his release in early October and noted that the judge agreed it was not "appropriate" to sentence Pooh to 10 years in prison. He told the outlet,

"I know he will come back bigger than ever and definitely learned from this experience. He is excited to start the next chapter of his story. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and I think that this is just the beginning of his second act."

The singer had previously teased that he had returned to the "studio" to make new music in early November. According to XXL magazine, he took to his Instagram stories to reveal the breaking news. He noted,

"Studio, studio, studio, studio. Record, studio."

He added,

"75 % Back Outside 100 % Studio Ready."

In the teaser, Pooh raps about being "fresh out from the feds" and can be seen handling wads of cash. It comes after Pooh released his single, Federal Contraband 2, on December 25, 2023, while serving his prison sentence.
