Jimmy Kimmel isn't exactly lying low. Just days after ABC hit pause on his show, the late-night TV star was spotted heading to his orthodontist's office, flanked by heavy security.

On Sept. 19, the talk show host, 57, was seen arriving at a specialty center in Los Angeles for an appointment. As he was trying to get inside the building, reporters asked how he was doing, and Jimmy Kimmel replied:

"Just trying to figure out how to get to the orthodontist."

A day prior, the TV host was also seen on his way to his lawyer's office, with photographs showing him in a full-on smile.

Jimmy Kimmel stands his ground, fuming over pressure to apologize for Charlie Kirk remarks

Jimmy Kimmel's suspension on Sept. 17 came after his remarks following Charlie Kirk's murder. On his show, he said:

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it. In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving.”

The host also poked fun at President Donald Trump:

“On Friday, the White House flew the flags at half-staff, which got some criticism. But on a human level, you can see how hard the president is taking this...”

The screen then showed a video of the president speaking to members of the press, when one asked him for his comment on the death of his "friend" Charlie Kirk.

"May I ask, sir, personally, how are you holding up over the last day and a half, sir?"

Trump answered:

"I think very good, and by the way, right there, you see all the trucks? They’ve just started construction of the new ballroom for the White House."

In a statement released by Nexstar, which operates dozens of ABC affiliates, it said it "strongly objects" to Jimmy Kimmel’s remarks.

“Mr. Kimmel’s comments about the death of Mr. Kirk are offensive and insensitive at a critical time in our national political discourse, and we do not believe they reflect the spectrum of opinions, views, or values of the local communities in which we are located."

Following the indefinite pullback, sources revealed that Jimmy Kimmel failed to negotiate with Disney's higher-ups, who reportedly remain firm in their push for him to issue a public apology over his comments about Charlie Kirk.

The "incredibly pissed" TV host went to his attorney's office for a virtual meeting with ABC exec Rob Mills and Disney chair Dana Walden. Per Puck News, the two sides tried to map out the path forward for his show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, but they ultimately couldn't reach an agreement.
