That kept me dancing to a point, just kind of Snoop Dogging around my place, because you can be pretty beat-up, and you can still dance if inspirational music comes on. The power of music to heal you is amazing. If I did not have those tapes, I don't know what I would have done."Speaking more about the role of music during her recovery time, Stevie Nicks added:"I am all over the internet. I listen to a lot of current bands. And all through my recovery, I have listened. That is the one thing that I have done physically through this recovery, is to really listen to all this younger music that I love. And when I was not feeling well at all, it just carried me on a cloud through this whole thing."More on Stevie NicksAs a member of Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks co-created Rumours. It is one of the best-selling albums worldwide. She eventually built a solo career with hit songs like Edge of Seventeen and Stand Back. Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham's early recording, Buckingham Nicks, was originally released in 1973. Its recent reissue has reminded Nicks of the early days. She got candid about the record, saying:"If you can ever just sit in a big room with somebody who has a great stereo or whatever you want to call it, great speakers, or lives next door to a studio, just go in and listen to it, because you will hear stuff in Buckingham Nicks that none of us have heard since that record came out, because it was only pressed at one time and went out that one time."She added:"I don't even have a copy, so it's like, when you listen to this, it's like you are in the studio with us, and there are parts, vocal parts, music parts that I have not heard in so long that I am, like, 'Wow. I would join that band.'"Stevie Nicks' next live show is officially scheduled on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in Cincinnati, OH, at Heritage Bank Center. Also Read: Why was 2025 MAMA Awards red carpet canceled?
