IShowSpeed has his followers buzzing with the announcement of his ancestry DNA test results. Born Darren Watkins Jr., the popular streamer, known for his high-octane personality, launched a livestream this week where he opened up the results of his ancestry DNA test. In snippets circulating on X, he shared that his report suggests that he’s 80% African and 20% European. "I'm not telling y'all the exact countries yet, but that's the only thing I'm telling y'all," he said during the livestream. In the livestream, he shared that he did the test because he wanted to learn about his roots. He echoed the mystery in a post on X last week, writing: "the dna test results went through u guys wont believe what's my ethnicity." He also explained that the test required that he spit into a tube and send it to the service, adding that it took days before he got his results. The 20-year-old Cincinnati-born YouTuber has yet to announce the exact breakdown of his ancestry DNA, so fans will have to tune in to find out more. IShowSpeed and Usain Bolt poke fun at each other: Read more IShowSpeed made headlines just earlier this week when running legend Usain Bolt took shots at him. In videos going viral on social media, the former can be seen bragging about his speed in front of the eight-time Olympic gold medalist. Bolt, however, wasn't having any of it. Bolt humorously told IShowSpeed that his level is something “you train all your life for." The latter retorted: “Alright, we gotta see.” Bolt, however, did not back down: "You’re acting like I’m 55, bro,” he said. “You know, Shelly-Ann [Fraser-Pryce] just retired? You probably couldn’t beat Shelly Ann." He was referring to Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, a Jamaican track and field sprinter who boasts three Olympic Gold medals. “I’m telling you, bro. Over 40 meters, she’s quick—it’s no joke," Bolt said. “Let me show you my speed, man,” the streamer insisted. “Don’t worry about it,” Bolt replied, to which IShowSpeed said, “You underestimate my speed.” Just earlier this year, Bolt offered to help IShowSpeed with his running skills. At the time, the latter shared a video on his Instagram from the retired athlete, where he said he was down to “link up any time” with him. “I’m retired now, so I’m not running. But I can coach you to go faster. You’re already fast, but everybody wants to be faster, right?” Bolt said in the video. Stay tuned to SoapCentral for more.
