Aaron Sharpe is the co-owner of Lucius Q restaurant in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sharpe is gaining attention on the internet for celebrating Charlie Kirk's assassination. American political activist and Trump ally, Charlie Kirk died on September 10, after he was shot at an event in Utah Valley University. Trump mourned his death in a Truth Social post.

Since his death, some of Kirk's past social media posts have resurfaced, allegedly showing him supporting Israel's attack on Gaza, beliefs on banning abortion, and also shared opinions on gun rights and violence.

While commenting on a Facebook post about Kirk's death, Aaron Sharpe wrote:

"Good riddance. What a piece of sh**."

Aaron Sharpe loses partnership with FC Cincinnati over Charlie Kirk comments

Following his comments on Charlie Kirk, Aaron Sharpe lost partnership with football club FC Cincinnati and TQL Stadium.

TQL Stadium said in a Facebook statement:

"FC Cincinnati and TQL Stadium expect our vendors and partners to uphold the values of respect and tolerance that are core to our club's identity. We were founded on the idea that soccer unites, and we remain committed to ensuring that FCC is for all and that we provide a safe and welcoming environment for our patrons. Toward that end, we have terminated our relationship with Lucius Q."

In response to the controversy, Lucius Q, the restaurant co-owned by Sharpe, also cut ties with him. In a September 11 Facebook post, Lucius Q said,

"Aaron Sharpe is no longer associated with Lucius Q. We found the comments he made on his personal social media pages offensive and, as a result, have severed ties with him."

Lucius Q, which also operates inside Factory 51 in Norwood, noted that they were aware of the comments made by an independent business owner at the site and does not condone violent or threatening speech. It is unclear whether Lucius Q parting ways with Aaron Sharpe will change TQL Stadium and FC Cincinnati's decision. Sharpe has not yet addressed his fallout with the stadium, the football club, or the restaurant.
