The CEO of Astronomer, Andy Byron, is going viral for a video clip of him spotted at a Coldplay concert in Boston. Andy oversees the company behind Astro as the head of one of the fastest-growing companies in the data infrastructure space and has been the CEO since 2023. Using his expertise, he has led the company’s expansion and product innovation in a sphere where organisations are seeking reliable data solutions.

Though Andy maintains quite a low profile and usually only shares updates on his LinkedIn page regarding Astronomer's achievements, like their recent virtual DataOps conference, Beyond Analytics, the CEO is now coming under fire for getting caught allegedly having an affair.

Andy Byron's alleged affair

During a Coldplay concert on Wednesday night at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts, Andy Byron was was suddenly spotted on the fan cam. The British pop has a trend of putting people on the spot by showing them on the Jumbotron. Usually the purpose is to catch wholesome memorable moments, like a proposal, funny placards and more, but that was however not the case for Byron.

The moment the camera captured Andy Byron hugging a woman who later turned out not to be his wife. The duo was spotted embracing each other, though the moment they realized they were on camera, they immediately let go of each other and started hiding their faces from the camera, raising suspicions. The matter escalated when the band's frontman, Christ Martin, spoke up and jokingly accused the two of having an affair.

Martin stated, "Oh what... either they're having an affair or they're very shy."

People then started investigating and found out the lady in question was the company's Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot, making her Andy Byron's colleague. This, of course, went viral as Byron is said to be married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, and shares two kids with her.

The whole ordeal attracted commentary on the internet, with people commenting on different perspectives under the post.

One user stated, "how to getting divorce and fired from your job at the same time lol."
Another had a conspiracy theory, "This was clearly premeditated by the camera crew. Just imaging how much this man paid to get that spot so he can enjoy his favorite band. Not only have they ruined his experience, but they’ve just opened themselves to a lawsuit."
While one user joked, "taking the side chick to a coldplay concert and getting exposed for it by the band itself and it going viral is crazy work"

Neither of the two parties involved has addressed the affair allegations yet.
