Ben Duncan was a socialite and reality star who attended University of St.Andrews with British royals Prince William and Kate Middleton. Duncan attended the popular Scottish university at the same time as Prince William and Middleton from 2001 to 2005.Duncan who starred in Season 11 of UK reality show Big Brother in 2010 died after reportedly falling seven floors from the rooftop of a central London hotel. On October 30, authorities called London's Metropolitan Police at around 11 p.m. after a man was reportedly spotted on the rooftop of the hotel's building, as per Daily Mail. Authorities described his death as "unexpected but not suspicious."A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told the Daily Mail:"Despite the best efforts from the London Ambulance service, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene."What has Ben Duncan said about Prince William and Kate Middleton?While speaking to Daily Mail five years after graduation in 2010, Ben Duncan reflected on Middleton and Prince William's relationship after they met at the university,"Because we'd had Will and Kate in our midst, we had royal protection officers swarming the place. We knew that they had hit if off and we knew something was happening, but they were just left alone to get on with it."Duncan was present when Prince William first saw Middleton at the university's fashion show,"It was the end of their first year. I was there, and in person, there were a lot of attractive girls. She was in a very daring dress, in a sheer stocking-like dress. He was sitting front row and his eyes were like stalks."He continued,"She brushed by him on the way to the catwalk and things were never the same again. The whole history of the monarchy had been altered."Ben was well connected and was friends with political fixer Lord Peter Mandelson, former cabinet member turned broadcaster Michael Portillo and designer Nicky Halsam. Broadcaster Mike Hollingsworth took to Facebook to mourn Ben's death and said,"He lived life as Peter Pan - the boy who never grew up.
