Brandon Awadis is a popular vlogger also known as Brawadis to his online community.

Brawadis has over 6.5 million subscribers on YouTube and is the brother of well-known FaZe Clan member FaZe Rug.

The content creator recently came under fire for an incident that occurred while he was filming himself ordering a drink at a Starbucks. The manager requested Brawadis to stop filming to protect the privacy of the staff, but Brawadis became agitated, which prompted security to intervene. Police officers eventually arrived on the scene and escorted the streamer out after resolving the issue.

At the time Brawadis admitted,

“Probably some things I said at the Starbucks that were a little disrespectful or out of line a little bit.”

Brawadis apologizes, opens up about mental health - xQc's reaction

Brawadis later apologized for the incident in a video uploaded to his official YouTube account. In the video, which was posted on August 12, he opened up about his struggles with mental health and his need for some time to figure out his footing.

“I’m in a very dark spot mentally. I’m not happy with myself. I’m in a really tough, dark spot up here in my own head. There have been a couple different things that have occurred in my life recently that have put me in a depressive state.”

Brawadis continues,

“Instead of trying to seek a solution for what’s been bothering me, I’ve just tried to brush it off to the side. It’s showing in some of the ways that I lash out at people, and that’s just not me.”

Once the apology video was uploaded, it wasn’t long before some of the most influential internet personalities began to dissect Brawadis’ claims. Amongst the most notable was Twitch streamer xQc, who spoke on the nature of Brawadis’ approach and the nature of his apology. He said,

“Dude, I can’t explain how out of touch this is. Guy goes into a Starbucks, goes, ‘This is my job,’ as he annoys some near-minimum wage worker at Starbucks, and starts his video in his living room in a f**kin’ mansion with marble floors. You cannot make this up.”
