Fox News has tapped into its Gen Z audience by hiring Brett Cooper, a conservative influencer.
The Daily Mail has reported that the 23-year-old will now offer her insights to the network, which leans conservatively. She is most known for hosting Daily Wire's podcast, The Comments Section, from January 2022 to December 2024. She boasts over 9 million followers across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X.
Also an actress, Brett Cooper is the host of her own YouTube show, The Brett Cooper Show. USA Today has reported that she currently resides in Tennessee and is now one of Fox News' youngest stars. She is expected to make her debut on The Will Cain Show on June 25 at 4 p.m. ET.

Brett Cooper, a UCLA alum, is known for reflecting on pop culture and politics. She is now expected to contribute to the cultural, social, and political commentary for Fox News.
The network currently operates FOX News Channel (FNC), FOX Business Network (FBN), FOX News Digital, FOX News Audio, FOX News Books, and FOX News International. There's also Fox Weather and Fox Nation. As of this writing, Yahoo Finance has reported that FNC is currently the dominating network and has been the most watched TV news channel for 23 years straight.
According to the Daily Mail, the average age of the viewer is 69 years old. Brett Cooper is now expected to attract a younger audience that doesn't typically tune in to television news, a source familiar with the industry told the outlet. She is known for "her grounded perspective, sharp wit, and distinctive takes," FOX News Media said in a statement.
Back in January, Brett Cooper sat down on Jesse Watters Primetime to reflect on the shifting media landscape.
"I watched the media landscape change over the last couple of years, but especially leading into this election, and young people are just hungry for independent voices who are authentic and honest with their audiences. They don't want to hear from traditional pundits 24/7," she said at the time.
She also reflected on how the culture has dubbed the younger Americans "on the right" as "edgy," adding that history was changed during the American Revolution.
"We think about those guys, and they were pretty normal, and they were wanting freedom, and they were wanting the life that we have built now in this country. They were very young, which I think people often forget. These were 17-to 22-year-old men who are hungry and huge dreamers, and I feel like we're getting back to that actually, in a very cool way."
The media landscape has now offered Americans the opportunity to "have a voice" and "share their own opinions," be it on X or even Substack, she added.
"People have a voice in a way that they haven't had, ever," she said.
At the time, she said that her goal was to goad her fellow Americans into welcoming another perspective.
"If I can change your perspective on who we are and what we believe and what we stand for, even if it's not to change your mind or change your vote, but to make you have more respect for your friends who think differently than you, then I've done what I want to do," she said. "It's just trying to reach across the aisle with nuance and empathy, because I think that … things are changing," she continued. "We saw that in 2024, and so, I think there's a lot more progress to be made."
