Nia Sanchez and her husband, Daniel Booko, have welcomed their fourth child!
The Valley duo took to Instagram to announce the happy news on Thursday, June 5. They welcomed a baby girl named Adelaide. The Valley couple penned in their post, alongside a carousel of images from the hospital:
"Sweet little memories from Adelaide’s first moments of life. 💕✨. We are absolutely in love! Birth story coming soon. 🫶🏽"
Sanchez, 35, and Booko, 41, have been dating since 2014, as reported by E! News. Page Six reported that they tied the knot the following year, in October.
Booko is an American model and actor. Booko started his acting career in 2005, with appearances in simple roles in American Pie Presents: Band Camp and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody at the age of 22. He was also a part of The Hunger Games and X-Men: First Class, as well as the ABC Family series Pretty Little Liars.
Nia Sanchez welcomes her fourth child after struggling with unexplained infertility for years
Nia Sanchez, the former Miss USA, and Booko welcomed their first son, Asher, six years after they tied the knot, back in 2021. By Father’s Day 2023, they welcomed twin daughters Zariah and Isabella. Back in December 2024, Us Weekly broke the news that the pair were expecting their fourth child.
Speaking with Us Weekly on June 5, Nia shared that her husband was an important part of the delivery process,
“The first moments with baby No. 4 felt so sweet and intimate. In our previous birth experiences, we’ve had a lot more people in the room. And we’ve always had a doula. This time, it was just us with our doctor and two nurses. This birth was extra special because Danny was able to deliver the baby.”
They also told the outlet that they named their newborn in honor of Nia’s great-grandmother, adding that Adelaide means noble and kind. The couple mentioned,
“Her middle name is Nicole, which is Nia’s mom’s name. We wanted to honor her because she has been such a pivotal part of helping us raise our children.”
Back in March 2023, Nia Sanchez and her husband shared a YouTube video outlining her twins' difficult diagnosis while she was pregnant. In a video recorded in their car, Nia requests that Booko share what they have learned about her diagnosis. He started,
"On Tuesday, we were diagnosed with TAPS"
"Twin Anemia Polycythemia Sequence," Nia Sanchez chimed in. This is an ailment in which blood flows unequally between twins that inhabit a placenta, which ends up with one fetus receiving more red blood cells than the other, according to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
"We're in stage one of that. That was not good news," Booko added. "But we've been praying that it normalizes by itself, and that's what we're going to check right now."
However, they welcomed their "two little angels" in a post on Instagram, calling that Father's Day "extra special this year."
"We are absolutely in love and have been soaking up every magical moment with these little ones. We can’t wait to share more soon" they shared at the time.
Nia Sanchez has also long been vocal about her struggles with infertility, as well as the complications she endured with her twins. Back in April, she said during a The Valley confessional:
"On our fertility journey, we went to a fertility doctor, [and] that's when I was diagnosed as having unexplained infertility. Unexplained infertility is when they look at your ovaries. They look at your uterus. Everything is fine, so doctors are like, 'There's nothing wrong with you. You are infertile. We just don't know why.'"
She added that it took the couple around one and a half years to get pregnant at first. She also shared the disappointment she felt waiting for a baby and not seeing a positive result. Speaking with Us Weekly this week, Nia Sanchez is sure that her family is now complete:
“This pregnancy definitely felt like a full circle moment for us. We had always talked about either wanting two children or four. When we skipped the line to three kids, we began discussing No. 4 shortly after. We both come from families of four, so having four little ones of our own feels very full circle.”
Fans can expect to see Nia Sanchez and Danny Booko back on screen for The Valley season 2, seeing as the reunion has already been filmed and wrapped. The family will now navigate shifting dynamics as a family of six at their home in Santa Clarita, California, where they moved just a few weeks ago.
