Who is Jennifer Lopez's first husband? Actress gets accused of cheating in viral Instagram rant 

Jennifer Lopez's first husband, Ojani Noa, who was married to the "On The Floor" singer from 1997 to 1998, recently went on a rant on Instagram. In the recent post, he accused J.Lo of allegedly cheating on him during their relationship.

According to the New York Post, this outburst comes just days after Jennifer Lopez, who recently appeared on The Howard Stern Show, revealed that she has never been in love, adding that others have not been capable of loving her properly.

During her October 15 appearance, the "Jenny From the Block" singer reflected on her past relationships, during her discussion with Howard Stern, and said:

"What I learned, it's not that I'm not lovable. It's that they're not capable. They don't have it in them. They need to appreciate the little person inside of them. They need to love them."

Jennifer Lopez married Ojani Noa in 1997, and couple remained together for only eleven months. According to CNN, they met in 1996 at a restaurant where Noa worked as a waiter, at a time before Lopez's career had fully taken off. The pair soon began dating after which the couple tied the knot in a small private ceremony. Later in January 1998, they announced their divorce.

Jennifer Lopez and Ojani Noa maintained a friendly relationship for a brief period following their split, with Noa even serving as the manager of a Cuban restaurant Jennifer Lopez had opened. However, their relationship turned sour when he was fired from the position just six months later. Since then, the pair have been at odds, with both sides having filed several lawsuits against each other over the years.

Ojani Noa has spoken about his relationship with Jennifer Lopez on several occasions. In his recent post on Instagram, shared on October 18, he accused the "Shotgun Wedding" actress of being the source of the "problem" in her relationships, and wrote:

"Stop putting us down. Stop putting me down with your victim card. The problem is not us. Not me. The problem is you. You're the one who couldn't keep it in your pants."

He further added that Jennifer Lopez, who has been married four times, has indeed been "loved a few times," saying:

"You have been ‘loved’ a few times. You have been married 4 times. And have had countless relationships in between. You’ve had good relationships… Me for example.”

Apart from Ojani Noa, the "Maid in Manhattan" actress has been married to choreographer Chris Judd, singer Marc Anthony and most recently, actor Ben Affleck, whom she divorced in 2024 after two years of marriage. In his post, Noa further added that he once truly loved Jennifer Lopez, but she allegedly chose "fame and fortune" over their marriage. He wrote:

"I’m an amazing, loving person, great human being. Honest, faithful to you, never lied, never miss behave, never cheated on you. I was good to you. I’m too good of a [man] for you. But you. You chose fame and fortune moving apart of our relationship. You decided to lie, to cheat on me and even though I stayed. I even tried to keep the marriage going and alive. You begged me to keep the marriage intact to avoid bad press caring more about you.”

In another part of the post, Noa who now works as a personal trainer, added:

"You wanted to continue cheating and lying. I couldn’t stay anymore and deal with the constantly lying.That’s why I left you. That’s why I divorced you. Tell the truth for once. Let people know you are the problem. You should be embarrassed, ashamed of yourself.”

Jennifer Lopez, who is currently celebrating the succes of her new movie "The Kiss of the Spider Woman," which released earlier this month on October, 10 has not yet issued a statement responding to Ojani Noa's accusations.
