Who is Lance Twiggs? Details emerge about Tyler Robinson’s alleged roommate following Charlie Kirk’s murder

Lance Twiggs is responsible for handing in alleged evidence that his roommate, Tyler Robinson, was the one to gun down Charlie Kirk.

In the wake of the conservative provocateur's fatal shooting on September 10, Robinson, 22, was arrested on suspicion of murder. Since then, reports have emerged that Lance Twiggs, an aspiring gamer, also 22, was the one to turn over incriminating messages from the former, where he allegedly spoke about stashing the gun used in the killing.

Per the Daily Mail, Twiggs and Robinson lived together in a three-bedroom apartment in Saint George, Utah. His identity was unveiled when seperate reports from Fox and the New York Post state that Robinson had been living with a "transgender partner" who is currently helping out in the ongoing investigations.

As of this writing, it is unclear if Lance Twiggs is the same transgender person in question. The Utah native reportedly studied at Utah Tech University, per his Facebook profile. As for his roommate, Robinson was studying to be an electrician at another college nearby.

Per the Daily Mail, Lance Twiggs' grandfather, Jerry Twiggs, spoke to the Daily Mail about the rumors that the former is trans, and that Kirk was slain due to an ulterior motive relating to trans rights:

'I don’t want to comment on that. I’m not sure what his situation is exactly right now,' he said, adding that he had never met Robinson. 'After he was with the police, he’s been at his house, and there’s no way for us to contact him other than going over there,' he added, confirming that his grandson was in touch with officials.

As of this writing, a motive has yet to be uncovered. However, Utah Governor Spencer Cox told the Wall Street Journal that Robinson was 'deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology'.

Per the New York Post, a Twiggs family member said that Lance Twiggs was the "black sheep" of their family, but refrained from speculating about a romantic relationship between them. She also said that she didn't know if Twiggs was in the process of becoming a woman, though she added that it wouldn't surprise her.

Charlie Kirk, 31, died from a gunshot to his neck at a college tour. He was addressing the swarms about transgender mass shooters at the time. In a news conference on Friday, federal and state authorities confirmed that a rifle believed to be the weapon had been recovered from the woods nearby.

"Casings found at Utah Valley University where Kirk was shot bore inscriptions, with one stating, "Hey fascist! catch!"The bullets were fired from an imported .30-06-caliber Mauser bolt-action rifle that investigators found wrapped in a towel in a wooded area. Messages from contact Tyler also mention that he had changed oufits, an affidavit that detailed Tyler's discussions read.
