Several FaZe Clan members just announced their departure from the esports organization. The back-to-back announcements on X shocked esports fans across the world. The announcement came months after the group clarified who the official members of the organization were on X (formerly Twitter). The post reads:

"We the boys want to make it clear to everyone that this list is FaZe. Anybody outside of this list is not associated with FaZe in any way... All other former FaZe members have no current affiliation with the group."

The members who were mentioned in the post include:

  • Adapt
  • Apex
  • Jason
  • Jev
  • Kaysan
  • Lacy
  • Rage
  • Replays
  • Ron
  • Rug
  • Scope
  • Silky
  • Swagg
  • ZooMaa
  • Our Pro eSports Teams

Fast forward to December, several FaZe members have announced their departure. The list includes

  • Nick 'Lacy'
  • Rani 'Stable Ronaldo'
  • Jason 'The Ween' Nguyen
  • Alexander Hamilton Prynkiewicz a.k.a. FaZeAdapt
  • Jerry 'Silky' Woo a.k.a. FaZeSilky

Earlier this year, in August, PlaqueBoyMax also announced his departure from FaZe with a simple tweet. He wrote:

"left@FaZeClan"

The post caused a storm online and has garnered over 2K comments from fans and netizens.

How did FaZe Clan members announce their departure from the esports organization?

Out of the five members on the list, Rani 'Stable Ronaldo' was the first to announce his departure from FaZe. He took to X to share the news, writing two words:

"Left@FaZeClan"

The second member to make the news of his departure public was FaZeSilky. He also followed Stable Ronaldo's announcement and simply wrote:

"Left@FaZeClan"

Jason 'The Ween' Nguyen and Nick 'Lacy' were next. They both made their announcement straight to the point, exactly like Rani and Jerry.

FaZeAdapt was the last to make his announcement (at the time of writing). He took to X to write an emotional post:

"Left @FaZeClan 14 Years. Over half of my life, I'd be lying if I said this didn't hurt, but it had to be done. Thank you to everyone who's been apart of this journey, the best is yet to come."

Richard "Banks" Bengtson, a.k.a FaZeBanks, who was the COO of the organization, took to X to clear out any rumors that he was involved in several members leaving the clan. He wrote:

"I have nothing to do with what’s going at FaZe Clan right now. I left 4 months ago and have moved on with my life. Unfortunate to see, wishing everyone involved the best. If there’s anything I can do to help, I'm here. Nobody loves FaZe more than me."

The sudden exit of several FaZe Clan members has surprised esports fans worldwide. Most members announced their departure in short and direct posts, showing how serious the situation is. These exits mark a major change for FaZe Clan and raise questions about its future.
