Influencer and businesswoman Natália Cavanellas passed away on July 7. According to CNN Brasil, she sustained a "cardiorespiratory arrest" during a cosmetic surgery in São Paolo. While the investigation into the exact cause is underway, the operating doctor, Edgar Lopez, has reportedly described it as a "rare event."

In a statement obtained by CNN Brasil, the doctor noted that Natália Cavanellas underwent the surgery,

"in accordance with safety protocols and medical monitoring."

With over 130k followers on her personal and business accounts on Instagram, Natália Cavanellas has reportedly amassed popularity for lifestyle and business advice.

Natalia turned 40 a few months before her passing on May 20. According to CNN Brasil, the beauty influencer was the founder of the "NC HUB360 Agency", which deals with business brokerage. With over "15 years" of business experience, she also became a founding member of two community organisations, "Connecting Club and Connecting Women" to support like-minded women entrepreneurs and businesswomen.

Additionally, she had announced on Instagram (@nat_nataworking) in March that she was one of the "100" entrepreneurs to be honoured by "São Paulo City Council for Women's Month."

Natália Cavanellas's husband, Rafael Thomazella, took to her Instagram account to share a carousel of their family. He described her as a "great", "beautiful, independent, super professional, happy woman" who thrived in her personal and professional life. He added (roughly translated),

"We were married for a few years, and from that marriage came our daughter, Manoella, who is the greatest gift I have ever received in my life."

He drew parallels between Manollea and Natália's personality and wrote,

"Manoella is very similar to Nat, including her personality, because she is very communicative. I think she takes after her mother in everything, and today I see how good that was."

He revealed he will tell their daughter about how incredible Natália was and will always keep "her alive" through their memories.

Natalia's fans and followers dropped tributes on her social media, with many urging others to take care of their physical health and recommending against cosmetic procedures.
