Who is Peck Palitchoke? All about popular Thai singer stabbed at petrol station

Peck Palitchoke was seriously injured in a stabbing incident on August 3, 2025, at a petrol station on Soi Ramkhamhaeng 76 in Bangkok’s Bang Kapi district.

According to Bangkok Post, the incident took place at around 1:30 am when Palitchoke, whose real name is Palitchoke Ayanaputra, engaged in an alleged brawl with the suspect, Chutithep Khunsoongnern, 21. He claimed that he believed the Thai singer was mentally disabled and attacked him in self-defence.

Peck Palitchoke is a singer, musician, music composer, model, and host, based in Bangkok, Thailand, as per Drama List. After initially living in Australia, he moved to Thailand to pursue his career in the entertainment and music industry.

He worked as a trainee under GMM Grammy. He released his first solo single, Mai Me Krai Ru(ไม่มีใครรู้) in 2005, which was part of his album, One Man Story. In the following month, he released his first album, One Palitchoke.

What happened to Peck Palitchoke after he injured himself in an altercation?

After Peck Palitchoke was injured in the altercation at a Bangkok petrol station on August 3, 2025, he was found at the scene with serious wounds. He received first aid from emergency rescue volunteers, following which he was rushed to Samitivej Hospital.

His attacker, Chutithep Khunsoongnern, from Samut Songkhram province, claimed that he saw Palitchoke jump on the bonnet of a moving pickup truck and engage in a heated argument with the driver.

He added that he was prompted to intervene to de-escalate the situation. He alleged that Palitchoke punched him, and he punched him back and then used a knife as his defense. He said that he was unaware of his celebrity status until his girlfriend contacted the police.

He said that he voluntarily surrendered to the police. His girlfriend informed that he meant no harm to the singer and only wanted to assist the driver.

Chutithep also alleged that Peck was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the altercation. However, the claim has not yet been confirmed by Peck or his manager.

Peck Palitchoke’s record labels, White Music and GMM Music, clarified in a statement that he is now in a stable condition and is kept under close supervision. He said that the injury is not serious and does not affect his facial or oral nerves.

A report in the Thaiger said that the police have filed two charges against the attacker, Chutithep – this includes Section 371 of the Criminal Law: Carrying a weapon in a public place without a valid reason. Under this charge, the penalty is a fine of up to 100 baht and results in the confiscation of the weapon.
