According to reports by PM News Nigeria and Kemi Filani News, famous Nigerian TikToker Peller, whose real name is Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, has been allegedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen while on a live stream. The incident took place on August 27, 2025.
Videos of his reported kidnapping have circulated on social media, showing him being stopped by armed men while he was on his way home from a restaurant. In the footage, Peller could be heard questioning the men as to why a gun was pointed at him. He was then asked to step out of his vehicle, to which he complied. Reports suggest that the 20-year-old has been missing since then.
His girlfriend, Jadrolita, confirmed the news of his reported kidnapping through an Instagram story with a shattered heart, crying and praying emoji. The news has left his fans confused about whether the incident was real or just a publicity stunt.

According to Kemi Filani News, Peller gained popularity when he became friends with singer Tiwa Savãge after she appeared on his TikTok live, with his lover, Jadrolita. During the live session, Tiwa caught the attention of the viewers by showing off her tattoo.
Her action drew online criticism and left both the TikToker and his girlfriend in shock. In another report, he talked about the secret to his success behind being a popular TikToker. In an interview with Nedu on the Honest Bunch Podcast, he stated that if one wants to make TikTok, they need to act like a dull person. He said:
“I started my TikTok with good English but I used to get like 10 views and 5 of them were my family members but when I started going live with my bad English, I started getting more than 2k views, if you want to make it on TikTok, you have to act like a dull person.”
He further revealed during the podcast that the most amount of money he has ever made on TikTok was 10 million Niara in one night. He also added that contrary to reports that he made $200,000 from the live session he did with singer, Davido, he only made N1.5 million.
Kemi Filani reported in December 2024 that the content creator proposed to his girlfriend as he shared a video of his grand proposal with his fans. The video was from a restaurant where Peller made the big move, which came as a shock to his partner, who thought it was a prank.
