Ray J faces arrest as he allegedly pulled a gun on his estranged ex-wife, Princess Love.

William Ray Norwood Jr., known as Ray J, has reportedly been arrested. The arrest came after the rapper allegedly pulled a gun on his ex-wife, Princess Love Norwood, in a live stream. In the same stream, he also threatened to shoot a man. This ordeal took place on Halloween, and currently, the 44-year-old is being held in custody at a Los Angeles-area jail, according to TMZ.

Ray J went on live to make the claim that someone was trying to take his kids away from him, who were currently with him, staking claim that “ain’t nobody taking them away from me on Thanksgiving.” Following that, he pulled out the gun and started loading it.

He then threatened, "I’m in my own house and if these n—as step foot close to this door I’m going to blow this f–king s—t away, bro. I don’t give a f—k bro, leave me and my kids alone.”

Princess was trying to leave with the kids, but the situation escalated when Ray heard a man's voice in the background and repeatedly said, “I’ll kill you, bro.”

Who is Princess Love?

Ray J and Princess Love have always had a very volatile relationship. The pair got married in August 2016. However, everything was not rainbows and unicorns in their relationship, as by the time they finally divorced in 2024, they had already filed for divorce at least 4 times.

The Texas-born Love & Hip Hop: Miami star shares two kids with the “Sexy Can I” singer, daughter Melody Love, born in May 2018, and son Epik Ray, born in January 2020. Love is a producer and actress, known for The Deadly Getaway (2022), One Mo Chance (2020) and Camp Joy.

The couple announced their fourth filing in February 2024 in a now-deleted Instagram post, explaining,

“After much reflection, discussion, and counseling, we have come to the difficult realization that our paths have diverged, and it is in the best interest of both of us to part ways. We want to reassure you that this decision was made thoughtfully and with mutual respect and consideration for each other’s well-being. While our relationship as spouses may be coming to an end, we remain committed to co-parenting our children and maintaining a positive and supportive family dynamic.”

Ray J has yet to respond regarding the scuffle and his arrest.
