Who is Sith Rey? ‘The Last Jedi’ look and new Fortnite skin spark fan buzz

Fortnite will be bringing Sith Rey to life.

Fans can expect Sith Rey of The Last Jedi as part of the leaked "Apprentice Rey," and according to E Sports, it drops on May 30. iFireMonkey, a well-known Fortnite leaker, revealed that the new look will retail for 1500 V-Bucks. Alternatively, fans can also purchase everything related to the character in a bundle for 2,000 V-Bucks.

At the time of writing, Sith Rey's exact look remains unclear, though fans can expect the same look as seen in Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker, when she took on a battle against herself in the ruins of the Death Star.

The Reformed Gamers has reported that the new skin will feature a dark, red hooded outfit, glowing eyes, and a lethal look. It will be a sharp contrast to the Rey Fortnite already has, which is a light-skin version.

Notably, Epic is also dropping an array of themed cosmetics in the item shop, which, according to HypeX, another leaker, includes:

• Sith Rey Skin – 1,500 V-Bucks
• Full Bundle – 2,000 V-Bucks
• Back Bling – 400 V-Bucks
• Dagger Pickaxe – 500 V-Bucks
• Speeder Glider – 800 V-Bucks
• Wrap – 500 V-Bucks
• Jakku Barter Emote – 300 V-Bucks
• Sandcrawler Emote – 500 V-Bucks

The Reformed Gamers has reported that purchasing the entire bundle will cost less than purchasing each item individually.

As for who she is, Sith Rey, born Rey Palpatine and also known as Darth Rey, was a Force-sensitive Human female. She served the Sith Eternal during the New Republic Era, having fought on the side of the First Order in the war waged against the Resistance. She is trained in the ways of the dark side of the force and was raised on Exegol after her parents died.
