Rapper Drake and his ex, Sophie Brussaux latest clip have taken the internet by storm as they came together to celebrate their son, Adonis Graham’s eighth birthday.

Adonis Graham was born to the former couple on October 11, 2017. The viral footage captured at a private spot shows the co-parents in a joyful mood as they pose with their son. In the video shared by DailyLoud's X account, Drake and his former partner pose with their son beside his cowboy-themed birthday cake.

While his father has earned his name in the music industry, Adonis has also grown into a pint-sized star. Reportedly, he made his debut in the rapping industry at the age of six with the track, My Man Freestyle. He featured in several music videos alongside his dad, including – 8 AM in Charlotte, from his 2023 album For All the Dogs.

His mother, Sophie Brussaux, is a French artist and former model. She is known for her surrealist paintings of celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Beyoncé, and Pope Francis.

Born on August 1, 1989, Sophie Brussaux is from Bordeaux, France. She is of French nationality. Her father was an engineer, and her mother is a homemaker.

People magazine reported that she is a former French adult film star and a model. According to Tuko News, she was popularly known by her nicknames Rosee Divine and FrenchRosebud. She attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Sophie Brussaux later transitioned into a painter. Her work, which is a mix of pop art and surrealism, portrayed famous icons around the globe, including Frida Kahlo, Leonardo DiCaprio, and the Obamas, among other celebs.

She met Pope Francis in November 2019 and gifted him a portrait of him. She shared the moment on her Instagram and captioned the picture:

“Such an honour to meet Pope Francis and gift him the portrait I painted for him in honour of his concert with and for the poor on Nov 9 2019.”

According to a report in the South China Morning Post, she met Drake in January 2017. However, their relationship was marked by ups and downs. When she announced her pregnancy in May of the same year, Drake denied being the father. TMZ reported that he allegedly texted her to abort the baby.

But, in June 2018, Drake confirmed that it was his child when he received the DNA test. In October of the same year, Drake opened up about the mother of his child when he appeared on an episode of LeBron James’ show, The Shop. He said:

“[I'm] learning to communicate with a woman who, you know, we've had our moments. I do want to be able to explain to my son what happened, but I don't have any desire for him to not love his mother. I don't ever want the world to be angry at his mother. We have found ourselves in a situation and we are both equally responsible.”

After having a brief relationship, Sophie Brussaux and Drake split following the birth of their son Adonis in October 2017. Despite the split, they continue to co-parent their son.
