Timmy Bandsome (stylized as Timmy Band$ome) recently sparked controversy after they posted an alleged text exchange with BossMan Dlow. The social media star posted the alleged screenshots of the rapper sliding into their DMs and called him out via their Instagram Stories.
For those unaware, Timmy Bandsome is a well-known internet influencer with over 313K followers on their primary account. Their oldest unarchived post dates back to June 2019, with most of their content on Instagram centered around fashion. According to Famous Birthdays, Timmy Bandsome was born in October 2002 in New York City.
Bandsome also has an OnlyFans account, while they have also dropped two singles – Highness and Goofy (featured artist with i1kendal). They gained social media traction after Timmy Thick, another influencer, deactivated his accounts. The latter tweeted in March 2018 about “timmythick” being a 24-month sociological study conducted by Harvard.
According to Daily Mail, Timmy Thick’s Instagram disappeared after their X (formerly Twitter) post. Babe.net refuted the hoax about the Harvard study. After some time, Timmy Thick returned with a Q&A video, claiming that their manager was behind the “sociological study” claims, but he reportedly received backlash for racist remarks.
Timmy Thick couldn't regain his online following with the rise of Timmy Bandsome and other similar accounts. Eventually, his social media accounts disappeared again.
Timmy Bandsome claims that BossMan Dlow activated “Vanish Mode” in their texts on Instagram
The Instagram model shared additional screenshots and recordings after exposing the alleged texts of the Get in with Me rapper. In their latest post on their primary handle, Bandsome claimed that BossMan Dlow has seemingly activated the Vanish Mode in their Instagram DMs. Timmy attached a screenshot of the rapper’s contact number and claimed,
“He vanished mode me after that hey but i got his # and we was texting they don’t call him Dlow for nothing follow my finsta to get the messages & imma be posting more of yall fav rapping if they keep playing with me 🤭 @timmyxbandsom”

@timmyxbandsom is the Instagram influencer’s alternate account, which they claim to use to expose the rapper with more screenshots or evidence. They also reiterated via Instagram Stories that Dlow did activate the Vanish Mode and contended that he texted them “whole time” and “sent me his number. In another story, Timmy Bandsome alleged,
“Moral of the story is your favorite rappers are in my messages. I don’t usually do this lol…. But he literally asked me to buy my own flight to Orlando and munch on him for free! Maybe if he would’ve started the conversation off nice and wasn’t on some h*rnball this wouldn’t be out now.”
They continued to call out the rapper in subsequent stories and assured their followers in one of them,
“Why would I be scared? If something happens to me yall know who did it. Like yall act like I do this on a daily basis.”
BossMan Dlow has yet to respond to the controversy. His last social media posts were uploaded a few days back, while he has continued to repost other accounts on X.
