"Marta has left us. The adrenaline woman. She lost her life doing what she loved most. We are devastated. But our sense of helplessness and sadness won't stop us from remembering her when she shouted with joy at having achieved something impossible. Through tears, I share one of those moments with you."
Adventure enthusiast, Hermano Spoua, also took to his Instagram to share a tribute to Marta Jiménez and remembered her fondly. He wrote,
"Goodbye Marta, or maybe it would be better to say see you later, because that joy and zest for life that you spread to everyone around you will never be forgotten..."
