Megan Thee Stallion's defamation lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz continues to evolve. During this week's hearing, the rapper's former manager, Travis Farris, took to the stand to testify that she spent around $240,000 on a 4-week therapy session to overcome the emotional burden that came with Gramz's posts about her. TMZ has reported that this includes a deepfake adult video, which many thought was real. In his testimony, he recounted his former client coming up to him in tears and apologizing for him having to watch the video. He also recalled rushing to visit her at the hospital after he was informed via text that Tory Lanez shot her in July 2020, for which the latter was eventually convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison. Megan Thee Stallion's legal woes explored: TMZ has reported that, during Wednesday's hearing, Megan Thee Stallion's lawyers informed the judge that she has officially been diagnosed with PTSD by Dr. Lenore Walker, who also testified during the same hearing. Travis Farris also refuted Milagro Gramz's claims on the stand that he and the songstress were ever romantically involved. He claimed that the two shared a work bond similar to a "big brother/little sister" dynamic, adding that this only evolved after he became her manager in 2019. Local 10 has reported that U.S. Magistrate Judge Lisette M. Reid, who is presiding over the defamation trial, fined Tory Lanez $20,000 “for his obstruction” during Megan Thee Stallion's lawyers' several attempts to depose him. He and his attorney, Crystal Morgan, were also held in contempt of court. “Whatever the fines are, I’ll pay them. I’m a millionaire. I don’t care,” the Canadian rapper allegedly said after refusing the deposition. He reportedly lost his appeal just last week in Los Angeles when L.A. County Superior Court Judge Richard Bloom ordered him to maintain his distance from Megan Thee Stallion. The decision came amid a restraining order she has against him that's valid until January 2030. As for Megan Thee Stallion, she filed her lawsuit against Gramz in October 2024. She accused the latter of orchestrating a smear campaign against her and spreading misinformation online. Her legal team reportedly pointed out that the rapper had a brand partnership with a giant in the works, though it fell through as a result of Gramz's alleged actions. Her lawyers are now using the brand deal she lost out on to calculate how much she lost out on, the figure of which will also double as restitution. “These were career-amplifying opportunities that were available to Ms. Pete, but she could not capitalize on, as she was unable to be fully present in her career due to the ongoing campaign of harassment that persisted for years," her lawyers said, according to Black Enterprise.
