Druski has revealed that he will not be making a moodboard going into the coming new year. During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Drew Desbordes said that mood boards are a thing of the past and he is not planning to make one for 2026.

In his words:

"I don't do that. I let that go a long time ago... I used to do that back in the day. Those don't work. It's just a bunch of pictures. I don't do good with those."

But Desbordes did reveal an alternative method he uses instead of a moodboard. He elaborated:

"I like to write down, on just a regular piece of paper."

What is Druski planning on doing for 2026?

In the exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Druski shared a few of his upcoming plans for the new year. He said:

"Movies, TV, just everything that we're working on this year. I hope it transpires just as much in the upcoming year."

This year, Drew Desbordes appeared in a music video for Fuerza Regida's GodFather.

The comedian-actor also has a few other achievements this year. This includes being featured on Justin Bieber's album SWAG, which was nominated for a Grammy. He was named on Forbes' Top Creators list, and appeared on several commercials, including an advertisement for Dunkin’ Donuts in the Super Bowl.

He also worked on another major commercial with actors Zoe Saldaña and Harvey Guillén. They are advertising T-Mobile's 15-minute switch experience. The advertisement will go live next year on January 6.


What did Zoe Saldaña say about Druski not using moodboards for 2026?

Druski was with Zoe Saldaña during the exclusive interview with PEOPLE. After he revealed that he would not be creating a moodboard for next year, the Emilia Peréz actress responded by saying:

"I think I'm gonna take his advice because I always put so much weight on wanting to do it as a mood board... I spend all my time, all my energy, just getting all the items for it, that I don't have enough energy to put it together."

Desbordes added by saying excitedly:

"Throw out the mood boards."

As for Saldaña, there are two things she is looking forward to in 2026, which is "a good night's sleep" and "a good read."

She elaborated:

"I want to be a better manager of my time because life's just so fleeting, and I love what I do. I love it so much, and I give 120%. I wanna make sure that I'm giving 120% to my life and think, and what really brings me joy."

Druski shared that he no longer believes in making mood boards and prefers writing his plans on paper instead. He is looking forward to more work in movies, TV, and big projects in 2026. His T-Mobile commercial co-star, Zoe Saldaña, agreed with his approach. She said she wants to focus more on rest and reading for the upcoming year.
