Rapper Nayvadius 'Future' Cash has reportedly been sued by an Atlanta-based photographer, Garey C. Gomez. According to court documents secured by Complex Magazine, Gomez reportedly filed a "copyright infringement lawsuit" on October 2 against two entities associated with Cash, including "Titol Retail and Wilburg Holding Company."

Gomez has alleged that the rapper and his affiliated companies used the photo of the "Dungeon Family House" in Atlanta. He claimed that it was used in Cash's 2024 album, Mixtape Pluto and appeared on merchandise sold online and in retail stores.

Rapper Future is reportedly facing legal troubles following a lawsuit by an Atlanta-based photographer. All HipHop reports that Garey C. Gomez first discovered the alleged infringement in October 2024 and attempted to reach out to Future and his representatives. He added that they were unable to reach to a mutual agreement. In the court documents obtained by the news outlets, Gomez alleges that the rapper "copied"

"copyrighted works from the internet in order to advertise, market and promote their business activities”

and utilised them,

“for purposes of advertising and promoting sales to the public.”

Gomez is reportedly asking for monetary compensation due to the infringement, profits earned, and a court order on the images' use by the rapper. Gomez revealed that he had registered the images with the "Register of Copyrights on June 30, 2021."

According to sources, the house holds a significant place in music history and was purchased by Outkast's Big Boi in 2021. Following the purchase, Big Boi revealed he had grown up in "the house" and added,

"We would spend hours hanging out in the basement, writing rhymes and putting together beats at all hours of the night. Since purchasing the home, I’ve been excited to open its doors and welcome the next generation of artists to the space that inspired countless songs.”

News outlets reported that Mixtape Pluto debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 in 2024. The case is currently in development, and at the time of writing, it is unclear if the Future's representatives have responded to the situation.
