Twitch streamer Hasan Piker, commonly known as HasanAbi, has reportedly found himself in controversy over his recent comments about animals. For those unversed, Hasan was streaming on October 7, when his dog, Kaya, appeared in the background. Describing the dog as "spoilt", he reprimanded Kaya and said,

"Kaya, please go f**ing go back and stop."

The moment immediately caught netizens' attention after Kaya briefly yelped with pain. Multiple videos of the streamer reportedly emerged on the channel, with numerous users, including @VindiceLiber, claiming that Piker had put a "shock collar" on his dog.

H3 Podcast host, Ethan Klein, took to his socials to slam Hasan and dubbed his comments and actions as "animal cruelty." He wrote,

"Horrifying animal cruelty caught on camera by Hasan as he activates her shock collar for one tiny step off of her bed. She cries in pain, poor baby. I always thought it was extremely bizarre that his young energetic puppy never took a step off her bed. That has to be the result of some brutally strict training."

Streamer @Tectone took to his channel to share another clip from a stream in which Hasan can be heard talking about Frenchie dogs. Another user (@NotUlxa), shared a resurfaced video of Hasan "getting angry at his dog." Yet another user (@Viralvid_89) posted a picture with another dog and claimed that HasanAbi had used an "inverted spiked collar."

HasanAbi responds to allegations of animal abuse

Hasan Piker responded to the allegations about "animal cruelty" after clips went viral on social media. He addressed the claims and added sarcastically,

"Yes, I'm incredibly abusive to, not only the best-trained, but also the best-behaving and most spoiled dog on the planet. 'It's from when Kaya yelped.' Yes, she yelped because she f**king clipped herself on something when she was getting off the bed."

HasanAbi continued to deny claims and addressed his "crazy haters". He noted that he gave a "place command," which has been convoluted online. He added,

"'They said you shocked her with a button.' Yeah, in my evil villain lair. Good thing I didn't hit the f**king trapdoor button instead on accident. 'She yelped.' No! She went... when she was getting off the bed. I assume she, like, either stepped funny or clipped her f**king foot on something. I don't know."

Netizens and streamers allegedly accused HasanAbi of animal abuse and using a shock collar on his dog, Kaya. However, HasanAbi denied the claims and described Kaya as the "best-trained" and "most-spoiled" dog.
