A few days ago, IShowSpeed was doing an IRL live stream when he was swatted outside a KFC after his meal. Initially, Speed was confused about the multiple police cars and officers who were on the premises. He even went towards them to enquire if everything was okay and if he could do anything to help.

Before the police arrived, Speed was inside the KFC joint, reuniting with another Twitch streamer, Cuffem, whose real name is Cameron Jordan.

For those who do not know what swatting is, this is a definition from Fortinet:

"Swatting is a term used to describe the action of making hoax phone calls to report serious crimes to emergency services. People who carry out a swatting prank call aim to fool emergency services into sending a Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team to respond to the supposed emergency."

How did IShowSpeed get himself out of being swatted?

IShowSpeed was initially confused by the presence of police officers outside the KFC where he was eating. He went up to a few officers to ask about what was going on. An officer who recognized Speed told the streamer that someone had called the SWAT team from the eating joint. IShowSpeed responded to the officers, saying:

"False alarm, false alarm."

And then to his viewers:

"Damn, who did that?"

IShowSpeed and his cameraman came across another officer who commanded them to stand on the sidewalk, to which they complied. After the former said that they were leaving the location, they were asked to wait by the officers. Speed can be heard saying:

"Oh my god, bro. Ya'll f**kin' swatted us, dude... See chat, this is why I don't do USA IRL streams. This is the f**kin' reason why," as he proceeds to sit on the side bench.

In another clip from Fear Buck on X, Speed was seen with an officer, showing him footage from when he was inside the KFC joint. He explains:

"I was just at the KFC, eating, as normal... My friend came in, he's a bit... That's him. We were just eating. Just doing nothing. Nothing happened... Nothing happened to the point where too many d*mn police cars came."

The officer asked,

"But you heard what came out?"

Speed responded:

"Yeah, I know. Yeah, I know."

The officer interjected:

"That's why we came like this."

Speed then questioned the officer:

"What was the call was?"

The officer replied:

"It was saying that someone was on the counter, and they had a gun, and they're throwing out food, and all those stuff."

Speed admits to being on the counter but clarified that he did not have any "firearm" on him. When the officer asked him why he was on the counter, Speedy replied:

"Because the food was good."

He also explained to the police officer that he had called the KFC joint beforehand, and they had allowed him to do what he did. He also concluded by saying:

"Come on, bro. I'm not just a random... No. I showed you right here. I don't know what else to show you... Why is he trying to make something out of nothing?"

What started as a light-hearted meetup with an old pal turned into something tense for IShowSpeed. However, the streamer was calm and cooperative throughout the encounter, which helped de-escalate the situation quicker. However, Speed was not happy with the swatting incident, saying this is one of the reasons why he does not do USA IRL streams.
