Wrestler and influencer Logan Paul has reportedly taken legal action against Heritage Auctions. He won a floorboard signed by Michael Jordan, worth approximately $600,000. However, he filed an injunction on October 2 in Texas against the auction site, as he had concerns over the authenticity of the signed item.

According to Dexerto, the floor piece was used during the 1994 to 1998 seasons and was signed by Jordan himself. However, despite winning the item, Paul wasn’t initially allowed to look at the item and was given a deadline of September 25 to pay the amount. A judge has allowed the temporary injunction, which will be reviewed on October 8. Paul’s legal representative told ESPN:

“It goes without saying that authenticity is everything in the collectibles community. Collectors like Logan deserve, and are entitled to, proof of authenticity that holds up under scrutiny and addresses glaring holes and inconsistencies.”

Meanwhile, according to ESPN, a representative for Heritage Auctions said that Logan Paul’s injunction was meritless and also mentioned that they allowed Paul to inspect and review. They said:

“We stand behind every item that we sell. This lot would not have been included for sale at auction unless we were fully confident in its authenticity.”

Logan Paul’s complaint said the court didn’t match the one used from 1995 to 1998 because it had either been replaced or redone, as Heritage suggested.

Chris Ivy, the director at Heritage, admitted there was no proof linking the court to the seasons between 1998 and 2001. He also said that the photo-checking company couldn’t confirm the match because they only compared the Bulls logo, not the wood pattern.

Logan Paul wanted to sell his Pikachu Illustrator Card

Earlier this year, Logan Paul announced that he wanted to sell a Pikachu Illustrator Card, which he had bought for more than $ 5 million in 2022. The card came out in 1998 and was given to the winners of the CoroCoro Comic contest. It is reported that fewer than 40 cards were available, and the one that Paul bought was PSA 10 graded. According to a report by Dexerto from February 2025, he said:

“I am considering selling my one of one PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator, the best Pokemon card in the world. I bought it for $5,275,000. I set the Guinness World Record for the most expensive Pokemon card in history. I walked out with it on my Wrestlemania debut and I’m thinking about letting it go to the right person.”

At the time, Logan Paul said that if the buyer was listening, they should contact him. He explained that Pokémon was the biggest-earning franchise in the world, and like him, there was probably someone rich who wanted to be the best.

In 2022, he shared an X post, explaining that the card’s old owner kept it private, and for a while, people only thought it was a rumor. With the help of a collectibles expert, he tracked down the seller and convinced him to sell it. After five months of talks, Logan Paul traveled to Dubai to finally get it.
