PlaqueBoyMax left FaZe Clan earlier in August 2025. In a December 25, 2025, stream, PlaqueBoyMax addressed his departure from the Counter-Strike team and revealed the reason behind his exit,

"Y'all remember when Lacy got kicked from FaZe? He really got kicked from FaZe. He got kicked from FaZe because, according to the assistants and the staff, and the cameraman, they said that he had missed a video shoot or something, and we were missing video shoots. So, he actually got kicked from FaZe. Granted, he was allowed back in, what's it called, later, because n***** all have conbos. But yes, he got kicked from FaZe."

When talking about his own reason for leaving FaZe Clan, Plaque said,

"So, this is to tell y'all this - we have no control. There was no control, and it's like we're puppers. At least that's what it felt like. You get what I'm saying."

PlaqueBoyMax's recent comments on stream come after several FaZe Clan members announced their departure on December 25. The list of streamers includes Nick "Lacy," Rani "Stable Ronaldo," Jason "The Ween" Nguyen, Alexander Hamilton Prynkiewicz a.k.a. FaZeAdapt, and Jerry "Silky Woo" a.k.a. FazeSilky.

More about PlaqueBoyMax's FaZe Clan departure

PlaqueBoyMax joined FaZe Clan in April 2024 and gained recognition for his In the Booth series, where he recorded music live with several artists. However, on August 5, 2025, Plaque uploaded a video titled "i left faze clan," where he discussed his departure with fans. At the time, Plaque did not reveal the reason behind his departure. In the video, Plaque can be heard saying,

"Yes, I am leaving FaZe. I can't fully go into depth while I'm leaving FaZe, but I am leaving and I'm ready to, you know, embark on my journey. (I) worked the hardest I ever have in my career to do whatever I gotta do to make 5$TAR the biggest s**t possible, make myself the biggest s**t possible. Just keep working like we have for the past four years."

Hours after PlaqueBoyMax and several other clans commented about their experience working with FaZe Clan, the CEO of the clan addressed the comments and called the streamers "incredibly ungrateful."

FaZe Clan is a global esports and gaming entertainment brand, founded in 2010. The esports teams from the clan compete in games like Call of Duty, CS:GO, Valorant, Fortnite, and more. The Clan has gained recognition and has also worked with worldwide brands, including Nike, McDonald's, Porsche, and more.
