Todd Snider was allegedly the victim of an attack that has put the balance of his High, Lonesome and Then Some tour in jeopardy. The alleged incident took place outside a Salt Lake City hotel, as per Snider, and has forced him to cancel his upcoming tour dates for the foreseeable future. As a result of this reported altercation, Snider sustained severe injuries and was subsequently hospitalized.Snider was taken to Holy Cross Hospital (formerly known as Salt Lake Regional Medical Center) for treatment and was eventually deemed fit for discharge by the hospital staff. In a strange turn of events, this prompted an outburst from the singer. According to a Fox News report, local police assert that Todd Snider became uncooperative and berated the staff before being told to leave the premises. Despite their warnings, he eventually returned and even allegedly threatened an employee.As a result of his outburst, Todd Snider was booked into Salt Lake County Jail. It seems as though the police force and local authorities have yet to confirm Snider’s claims of an alleged assault, and this has left many confused.
