RaKai videotaped himself driving on public roads while moving on June 15, 2025, and streamed it live. A video of him getting too close to a roadside barrier while talking to his camera quickly went viral on X. Even though the entire thing only lasted about 20 seconds, it was scary enough for other people to share the video and express disapproval of the risks he took.

The streamer stated he couldn't broadcast until Twitch looked into the matter when he tried to go live again a few hours after the video aired. The site blocked his channel before noon on June 16. Twitch hasn't disclosed how long the ban will last, but others in the community say it might last for seven days, based on what happened before.

According to Twitch's May 2025 update on its rules for broadcasting from moving automobiles, any careless driving detected on camera would result in disciplinary action. RaKai's broadcast ignored this new rule by placing video production ahead of even the most basic traffic safety procedures.
