English broadcaster Piers Morgan reacted to the disqualification of Jammie Booker from the Strongman Games World Championships. For the unversed, Booker bagged the title of World's Strongest Woman at this year's championship held at Arlington this weekend.

Jammie Booker's victory sparked a debate on the internet and and many questioned the biological sex of the athlete. As per The Sun, Andrea Thompson, the runner-up, left the podium in rage, saying, "This is bulls**t."

Following the backlash, Official Strongman shared a statement on Instagram and informed that the athlete was disqualified. The competition's website noted that its officials were not aware that Jammie Booker was a "biological male."

Piers Morgan reacted to the development in his X post on Tuesday and wrote,

"UPDATE: Strongman Games World Championships say they didn’t know Booker was male and have now disqualified him. Woke is dead."

Earlier in the day, Piers Morgan threw a jab at the athlete and sardonically penned,

"Many congratulations to Jammie Booker, who has won the World’s Strongest Woman competition in Arlington, Texas. The fact Jammie is a biological male with a massive physical advantage over the actual women competing shouldn’t detract from this well-earned victory!"

Official Strongman issues statement addressing Jammie Booker's disqualification

On Tuesday, the Official Strongman Games World Championships declared that Jammie Booker was stripped of the world's strongest woman title. The announcement statement noted that the officials did not know that Booker was a "biological male."

"It appears that an athlete who is biologically male and who now identifies as female competed in the Women's Open category. Official Strongman officials were unaware of this fact ahead of the competition and we have been urgently investigating since being informed. An attempt has been made to contact the competitor involved but a response has not been received," Official Strongman's post read.

It further added that had the officials known about Jammie Booker's biological sex, they would not have allowed the athlete to participate in the Women's Open Category. The post mentioned that athletes can only participate in the category "for the biological sex recorded at birth."

"Given this, we have disqualified the athlete in question from the Official Strongman World Championships 2025. All athlete points and places will be altered accordingly to ensure that the rightful places are allocated to each of the Women’s Open athletes," the statement continued.

The organization went on to express disappointment for those "who fairly and legitimately took part" in the competition. The statement concluded saying that Official Strongman stands "with fairness."

Earlier on Monday, political commentator Megyn Kelly also expressed frustration over Booker's victory in her X post.
