“You can get lost in the sauce”: Timothée Chalamet reacts to winning ‘White Boy of the Year’ award

Timothée Chalamet has accepted his "White Boy of the Year" award with pride!

The actor humorously took to Instagram to accept the feat, shortly after he beat out Adam Sandler, Tom Cruise, MrBeast, and Pat McAfee in the parody-style show. Hosted by Anthony Edwards and Nick Maddox, the show is called the First Annual Believe That Awards and is touted as a ceremony where “no one is safe.”

Timothée Chalamet, who is currently filming Dune: Part Three in Budapest, quoted Gucci Mane for his acceptance speech on his Instagram Stories:

“You can get lost in the sauce, but without sauce, you are lost.” He added, “I promise to cherish this award, and to do good inspiring generations of white boys to come to be entirely delusional about their identity and place within the world.”

Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Anthony Edwards announced the award, though the actor himself was not present at the awards show to accept it. However, he joined the 'Believe That' podcast through a video call from Budapest. In a lighthearted exchange with the two hosts, he shared that his two favourite films are Michael Mann's 'Heat' and Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight'.

In other news, Gwyneth Paltrow sat down for a cover story with British Vogue published this week, where she admitted to having no clue that Timothée Chalamet was dating Kylie Jenner.

She recalled first meeting him during a costume test for their new movie, Marty Supreme, and said she was confused when he told her that hsi girlfriend is a mom of two.

"Everyone makes fun of me because I don't know anything," Paltrow admitted. "I was like, 'Do you have a girlfriend?' And he was like, 'I do! He mentioned that she had kids and I was like, 'That's so cool. I really love to hear that [from] a young man like you.'"

She went on,

"I understand a 45-year-old who has his own kids going out with a woman with kids, but it's a cool choice to go out with a young woman who has two kids. I respect it. I think it's kind of punk rock. But my point is I didn't know it was Kylie Jenner..."

Timothée Chalamet has been linked to Kylie Jenner, 28, since 2023. The latter shares daughter Stormi, 7, and son Aire, 3, with her ex-boyfriend, Travis Scott.
