On the December 6 episode of the Brilliant Id*ots podcast, Charlamagne Tha God and Andrew Schulz sat down for a conversation to discuss media, Trump, Akaash Singh, among other topics and persons. At one point during the conversation, Charlamagne remarked that he didn’t like how Akaash was treated in the past few weeks.Schulz commented that they recently had Akaash’s wife, Jasleen, on the Flagrant podcast. Charlamagne Tha God asked if he should say something that was on his mind. Schulz told him to go ahead. He said:“All I want to say is simply this. Why does your wife have a microphone in her face? Do not allow your wife to start a motherf*cking podcast, bro. Okay, there can be one entertainer in this family and it shall be me. I'm the comedian. I'm out here on this road and I'm out here getting the money. Let me use some of this money to help you do some other things. Yo, because you don't need a microphone in your face because you gonna f*ck around and ruin us.”Charlamagne Tha God said he always had his wife’s back. Schulz said that much of what was being talked about with regard to Singh's wife made no sense. Charlamagne asked about the claims, and Schulz said:“She was a v*rgin. That she was never a wh*re.”Charlamagne asked:“So that video of her talking about sleeping with a bunch of men was not real.”Schulz replied:“She never said she slept with it. She said I was popping my p*ssies at frat parties and she's a sheltered Indian girl.”What did Charlamagne Tha God say about book writing?Charlamagne Tha God said men should not let their wives become influencers or start podcasts. Alexx Media replied that it wasn’t about “letting,” but Charlamagne disagreed and said some things were harmful to a relationship, so they simply shouldn’t happen. Alexx suggested husbands could advise their wives, but Charlamagne said advice wasn’t enough. He added:“So, I'm saying all of that to say women, learn from my mistakes. Stay the f*ck off these podcast. Don't be on these motherf*cking podcast. Don't be an influencer.”Alexx said how it would turn out if their wives wanted to write a book. Charlamagne Tha God said he wouldn’t mind that. Schulz joked that in that way, he could still edit it. Charlamagne said:“But no, see, that's different because books are well thought out. You know what I'm saying? You're actually sitting down. You're fleshing out ideas. You have a concept. You have a topic. You have an agenda that you're actually pushing through this book. Like, a book can actually help somebody, especially if you're sharing your real life experiences. You know what I mean?”Charlamagne Tha God suggested that simply sitting on a podcast and making jokes didn’t make anybody a comedian. He also mentioned that many of the jokes that spread against Akaash Singh’s wife mostly had a racist undertone. Also Read: What did FanFan say about Kai Cenat at Streamer Awards 2025?
